Old and Great Underdog Movies

GREAT CHEAP MOVIES

if you are looking for a great watch adn are strapped on cash, this might just help you on finding something that you can laugh at or even enjoy watching things blow up.

These days with movies such as Star Trek being released ontop of all the Marvel comic remakes (if you can call them that) and A-grade movies as well as bollywood's Slumdog Millionare, who knows what to watch, especially after they come to DVD (or Blue-Ray if you have it). These are all a great watch, but what happens when you have seen them all and are sitting at home, not able to find anything on foxtel box office (quite often these days) or even your regular TV. well, one thing people have forgotten over the years is that its not just the movies that make the silver screen that exist and dont forget, theres also the old classics.

If your bored and looking for a laugh, then you just have to go and look up some great B-grade movies. if your looking for laughs, i recommend movies like Grandmas Boy. if you are looking for some great action, why not go for DOOM (with THE ROCK - Dwayne Johnson). these movies are only a couple of years old and never really showed in cinemas (DOOM only showed for 3 weeks), but are still great to watch (generally with a beer and some mates or even the girlfriend depending on the mood). not only that, but you can pick them up CHEAP. (i got grandmas boy for $7aud)

Here are some of my personal favourites that i have spent countless hours watching with friends and family who have even been converted to buy the movies themselves.

Army of Darkness - Bruce Campbell - 1992 - (Comedy/Action)
Grandmas Boy - Allen Covert and the rest of Happy Madison cast - 2006 (Comedy)
Big Stan - Rob Schneider - 2007 (Comedy)
DOOM - The Rock (Dwayen Johnson) - 2005 (Action)
Bubba Ho-tep - Bruce Campbell - 2002

there should be some blogs with some info on these movies up soon, so please come back if you want to find out more, or browse around and buy some off the web (real real cheap)

any questions on any movies or how to get a hold of these (they are pretty rare), just email me at askpunchy@gmail.com
